Each year, over 1 million high school students face a major decision of entering university, yet more than 75% of students do not feel adequately guided in career orientation, and over 70% do not fully understand the skills & competencies required by the industry… Future Fest Hanoi 2026 is organized as a systematic effort to help students gain more comprehensive access to career realities, thereby making more informed and suitable choices.

Hosted by Phuong Dong University (UPD), in collaboration with the Van Lang education ecosystem and many other universities and educational organizations, the event attracted over 10,000 high school students in Hanoi. This scale not only demonstrates the high level of interest students have in career orientation but also reflects the urgent need for in-depth career guidance platforms that go beyond traditional counseling methods.

Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Thi My Dieu, Rector of Van Lang University, Chairman of the Board of Phuong Dong University, emphasized the role of education in not only providing knowledge but also helping learners build self-reliance and the ability to make responsible choices for their own future.

Similarly, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Huu Cuong, Rector of Phuong Dong University, stated that high school students are often only introduced to training fields in a general way, while to deeply understand a field of study, they need opportunities to directly interact with experts. Choosing a career should not be rushed but should be carefully considered based on full understanding, leading to clear orientation.

Therefore, Future Fest Hanoi 2026 is designed as a multidimensional content ecosystem, with over 100 topics spanning 30 major fields and 60 specialized fields, featuring more than 100 speakers who are leading figures from Vietnam and internationally.

Program Highlight: Gathering over 100 perspectives from leading figures.

More than 100 speakers participating in the program are experts, leaders, scientists, researchers, educators, artists, cultural figures, authors, and educators passionate about education. They not only bring knowledge but also share real experiences, proven lessons, and deep insights into the dynamics of future professions.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Thi Ngoc Dung - Associate Professor (PhD at the prestigious Karolinska Institute in Sweden - Nobel Prize in Medicine) shares about future opportunities in the medical field.

Thanks to this, students not only stop at "hearing about the profession" but have the opportunity to "understand the profession" from the inside, understanding how a job truly operates, the challenges involved, and the long-term development path. As Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Thi My Dieu shared, "Strong roots maintain the foundation of thinking, character, and learning courage.
